cellular drone communication project from Qualcomm

I didn`t know until today about Cellular Drone Communication project lead by Qualcomm company. Problems like 400 ft. limit in 4g networks is completely new for me. You can check more details there: qualcomm cellular-drone-communication website
I will try to understand whole this project soon but now is more clear for me why current drones are not using cellular networks for communication. In my mind there were only problems related latency but seems more elements are important also. I will continues my project as is but probably think in meantime about some others alternatives.
